If John Jerit's Bartlett-based company promoted the success of its 3D paper glasses like a billboard touting the number of customers served at a fast food restaurant, the string of zeroes would jump off the sign toward you. And, there would be plenty of zeroes. Nine to be exact, representing more than 1 billion served. That's right. Billion.

THE WORLD ISN’T FLAT! It seems the marketing world can’t get enough depth as American Paper Optics rattles off another 16,000,000 3D glasses for five Time, Inc. publications all on newsstands this week. This mega-order, manufactured by the Bartlett, Tennessee based company, came on the heels of the 130,000,000 piece order American Paper Optics produced for the Super Bowl commercials.

Sure, American Paper Optics has filled large orders for its 3D glasses before.

For example, the Bartlett-based company manufactured some 40 million sets of spectacles for last year's "Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour" DVD.

But that pales in comparison to APO's latest project.

Employing Intel's new InTru 3D technology, APO created 125 million sets of glasses to be used during Sunday's Super Bowl XLIII broadcast on NBC and Monday night's episode of "Chuck" on the same network.
