American Paper Optics, LLC is the official manufacturer of the 3D glasses given away for Super Bowl viewers in what is being called one of the biggest media-advertising events in history. The glasses will be used to watch a 90 second sneak preview of the big screen animated feature “Monsters vs. Aliens” as well as a 3D SoBe Lifewater commercial. But don’t throw the glasses away afterwards; the glasses can also be used for viewing a 3D episode of NBC’s hit comedy “Chuck,” airing Monday, Feb. 2, 2009 (8-9pm E.T.)

The specialized Super Bowl 3D glasses use In Tru 3D as well as ColorCode 3-D™. ColorCode 3-D™ is a new patented 3-D Stereo system. It is the only system in the world to reproduce 3-dimensional images in a simple way with full color- and depth information on all display media including analogue film.
