Bartlett, TN: March 23, 2012- An online contest launched last month by retail giant Walmart is helping call attention to innovative retail products and, in one case, a very interesting new 3D offering from American Paper Optics called the Holiday Magic 3D Viewer. These molded plastic Holiday Magic 3D Viewers feature fun holiday designs that create one of 5 different holiday images when viewing any bright point of light. The Holiday Magic 3D Viewers line includes Snowman, Santa, Reindeer, Snowflake and Christmas Star versions. These durable plastic viewers are great for gifts, stocking stuffers, holiday parties, and much more.

The retail giant’s “Get on the Shelf” contest encourages fans to vote for their favorite products with the grand prize being the chance to be sold on Walmart.com as well as Walmart stores across the country. More than 4,000 products have been entered with only one of these being a 3D related toy.

“We have been amazed by the number of entries for Get on the Shelf, and by the community’s passion and excitement for the contest,” said Guha Jayachandran, principal engineer at @WalmartLabs who developed the idea for the contest.

Voting continues through April 3, when the top 10 finalists will be announced. Voting for American Paper Optics can be done by visiting: http://www.getontheshelf.com/product/5190/Holiday-Magic-3D-Viewers
